Youth shoulders the future. 概要	この度、新潟県立大学、同盟研究会の共同主催で「若者から見たＡＳＥＡＮと日本の将来」と題して、下記のとおりシンポジウムを開催することとなりました。２０１５年１月には本邦初の「アセアン・日本シンポジウム」を開催しました。福田康夫元総理に基調演説、泉田裕彦新潟県知事の応援演説、サーナム・シャングラトナム第一副首相（シンガポール共和国）のメッセージなどの後、学者や外交官などが盛り沢山の発表討論を行いました。２０１５年１０月７日に開催する「アセアン・日本シンポジウム」の主題は、アセアンの若者、日本の若者に焦点をあてます。２０１５年夏、インドネシアと日本で世論調査を本学が実施、このデータを２００１年に日本とインドネシアで行った世論調査と比較分析したものをみながら、討論します。タイとシンガポールの若者プロファイルについても、世論調査を基にした発表討論がなされます。アセアン事務局からのメッセージなどに加えて、駐日フィリピン大使や他の在京のアセアン加盟国からの大使のスピーチもなされ、討論にも参加する予定です。１０月７日東京の鳥居坂にある国際文化会館で９時半から１７時まで、参加無料です。次（http://www.unii.ac.jp/event-calendar/#day20151007）に登録し、大学は何をやっているのかを自分の眼で見ていただければありがたいです。２０１６年にも２０１７年にもアセアン・日本シンポジウムを開催する予定です。アセアンの若者、日本の若者が何を目指し、何に悩んでいるのでしょう。皆一緒に考え、討論しませんか。
