概要	東アフリカ牧畜社会はそれぞれの国家の中で周縁化され、旱魃や紛争等により人道支援が常態化しています。人道支援は、中立性、公平性を原則としていますが、決して非政治的な営みではないことが既に明らかにされています。しかし、普遍性を前提とする人道支援と文化的多様性の関係についてはこれまで問題にされてきませんでした。この国際ワークショップでは、接合領域接近法という新しいアプローチを用いることにより、普遍的な人道支援枠組みを東アフリカ牧畜社会に適合したものにローカライズしていく可能性を探究します。まず、東アフリカ牧畜社会で長年調査研究を続けてきた臨地研究者が難民・国内避難民キャンプからの報告を行います。つづいて、JICA・国連等の実務経験者も報告を行います。最後に、こうした報告に対して海外ゲスト3人がコメントを行う構成で進行する予定です。
